I Lied To You
March 18th was not my last snow day.
In fact, March came in like a lion, went out like a lion and had a baby lion named April who is still terrorizing Minnesota.
It’s April 9th and we experiencing what is quite possibly the longest winter ever. On an Easter weekend trip to Whole Foods, carrots were being marketed as “snowman noses” (not “bunny food”!?), and it is supposed to snow another 6 inches by the end of the week.
And I think I’m the only person in the state who doesn’t mind. I am soaking up every dusting of snow, knowing that it may be my last for a long time.
